Tyler Helfers’ New Book…

30 Jan

I want to let everyone know about a project I have been working on for the past 5 months.  I have been in the process of writing a book entitled, Matthew: Jesus, The Old Testament, and Hope for All People.  I have recently been in contact with a publishing company who has shown interest in publishing this work.  It is my hope that this would become a resource for college ministries, and the church alike, that helps people to engage with and understand God’s Word, and live to God’s glory in all facets of life.  Below is a snapshot of what this book is about:

“The Gospel of Matthew is a magnificent work that tells the story of Jesus Christ.  Yet, it does more than merely tell the story of our Savior.  Matthew serves as a bridge between the Old and New Testaments, recapitulating, in fascinating detail, the story of God and His plan to save a people for His glory.  In an age in which the Old Testament is oftentimes ignored and misunderstood, Matthew can help us to see the continuity throughout all of Scripture and give us a deeper appreciation for the message of the Gospel.  In this book, readers will examine the Gospel of Matthew, its Old Testament connections and the hope that exists within this amazing story for all people.”

The book will be approximately 90-100 pages in length, and will contain a study guide for use in small groups/Bible studies.

I am currently in the process of finding churches, groups or individuals who would have a desire to invest in/purchase cases of the book to distribute to students, small groups or congregations.  If you would like more information regarding this, please email me at tyler.helfers@gmail.com.  I will continue to update everyone on the progress of this publication as details become more clear.

To God Be The Glory,

Tyler Helfers
