Top 5 Books From Summer 2011

1 Sep

I have been blessed with the privilege of being able to read many good books this past summer.  It is my hope that, as I continue to read, God will use the wisdom and instruction of these authors to impact my own life and the ways in which I live out God’s calling for me to love Him and love others. I wanted to share my 5 favorite books from this past summer with you, in hopes that you might enjoy these reads and the wisdom held within their pages:

5. The Gospel for Muslims (Thabiti Anyabwile, Moody Publishers, 2010)
4. Mission in the Old Testament: Israel As A Light To The Nations (Walter Kaiser, Baker Academic, 2000)
3. Spectacular Sins: And Their Global Purpose In The Glory of Christ (John Piper, Crossway, 2008)
2. Galatians [Reformed Expository Commentary Series] (Philip Graham Ryken, P&R Publishing, 2005)
1. Redemption: Accomplished and Applied (John Murray, Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co. 1955)
